To Have And To Hire

To develop the current To Have And To Hire brand identity and produce a website which is easy to use and persuasive. The current website they had was built on Wix, and although looked good, it was not user-friendly and had numerous problems. For this project, I teamed up with and Ryan Welch Photography.

For the brand identity, I chose soft delicate colours and a classic font to give To Have And To Hire a feminine yet modern feel. The logo was made previously and we continued to use it. This website does not sell online but we wanted to have the dresses appear in a shop e-commerce style where users could click on a dress to view more images, a description, price, and shortlist it. The shortlist feature was designed to help both users and the team at To Have And To Hire. You added a dress to a shortlist which you then gave to the team for them to ready dresses on arrival. We also created an online booking system which links to To Have & To Hire’s Google Calendar, an opt-in to their email newsletter. If you had a wedding dress which you wanted to hire out, you can submit details at the upload station, which would then be processed and approved by To Have And To Hire.
